_**Two lovers in London tangle with fate**_
A detached London man (Paul Nicholls) suddenly realizes he might lose his girlfriend (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and so does everything he can over the course of a day to protect her and love her.
"If Only" (2004) is a drama/romance that takes the tone of “Wicker Park” (2004) and puts it in the setting of “Match Point” (2005) with metaphysical touches of “Midnight in Paris” (2011) and “Final Destination” (2000).
Anyone who likes flicks like "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (2004) and "The Time Traveler's Wife" (2009) should appreciate it, although it’s less convoluted and easier-to-understand.
The better side of London is shown, and England in General.
The film runs 1 hour, 32 minutes, and was shot in Greater London and Cumbria, England (the mountainous area).
